He conocido a muchas nuevas personas y he retomado antiguas relaciones. He integrado al equipo a consultores brillantes que han ampliado lo que puedo ofrecer a mis clientes. He navegado por industrias nuevas para m&#237;: <em>luxury</em>, <em>hospitality</em>; y he profundizado a&#250;n m&#225;s en industrias que ya he recorrido mucho durante mi carrera: <em>health</em>, <em>mobility</em>.</p><p>Al inicio quise distinguirme a partir de un momento <em>Wow</em> que tuve en marzo en Boston mientras conoc&#237;a en persona a los grandes genios del MIT que imparten el posgrado de alta direcci&#243;n de tecnolog&#237;a del que me gradu&#233;. Estaba escuchando al Dr. David Ni&#241;o dar una <em>master class</em> sobre Liderazgo para la Innovaci&#243;n, entonces todo termin&#243; de cuadrar: el 90% de las t&#233;cnicas de liderazgo impartidas ya las hab&#237;a aplicado en mi trabajo; las hab&#237;a aplicado por intuici&#243;n aprendida a trav&#233;s de 20 a&#241;os de trayectoria profesional; las hab&#237;a forjado con la dura flama de la prueba y error, de los fallos, de las ca&#237;das.</p><p class="button-wrapper" data-attrs="{&quot;url&quot;:&quot;https://newsletter.andyaragon.com/p/innovacion-y-tecnologia?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share&action=share&quot;,&quot;text&quot;:&quot;Compartir&quot;,&quot;action&quot;:null,&quot;class&quot;:null}" data-component-name="ButtonCreateButton"><a class="button primary" href="https://newsletter.andyaragon.com/p/innovacion-y-tecnologia?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share&action=share"><span>Compartir</span></a></p><p>Hab&#237;a aprendido a conectar la tradici&#243;n con la innovaci&#243;n, a no llegar a querer &#8220;innovar&#8221; criticando las bases sobre las que constru&#237;a.</p><p>Hab&#237;a aprendido a que la diversidad en los equipos generaba perspectivas diferentes que aceleran el progreso; hab&#237;a aprendido que pasado el proceso creativo de generaci&#243;n de ideas hay que converger, que la ingenier&#237;a matem&#225;tica, exacta, es lo que sigue a las grandes ideas para hacerlas realidad.</p><p>Mi lema llevaba 20 a&#241;os siendo &#8220;<em>From Dreams to Reality</em>&#8221; y era lo que, en resumen, el primer m&#243;dulo del posgrado impartido por el Dr. Ni&#241;o nos ense&#241;aba: a llevar los sue&#241;os a la realidad, a convertir las ideas en capital y a ejecutar lo abstracto.</p><p>Entend&#237; que hay un mundo de estructuras acad&#233;micas que puedo moldear a mi experiencia acumulada, y entonces empec&#233; a venderme como consultor en Innovaci&#243;n quitando lo que consideraba com&#250;n y aburrido: la tecnolog&#237;a, del <em>speech</em> de venta. Hablaremos de c&#243;mo el aburrimiento es una se&#241;al de alarma, c&#243;mo gestionar el <em>pipeline</em> de ideas y c&#243;mo convertir a tus empleados en intraemprendedores (Exploradores Corporativos)</p><h2>17. Convierte el Aburrimiento en un Reinicio Productivo</h2><p>Existe una regla no escrita en la consultor&#237;a de eficiencia: <strong>El aburrimiento no es un problema de actitud, es un punto de datos.</strong> Cuando alguien de tu equipo dice: <em>&#8220;Esta parte de mi trabajo es de hueva&#8221; </em>(O sea que es repetitiva y drena), esa es la se&#241;al para innovar. En la filosof&#237;a <strong>Lean</strong>, a esto se le llama <em><a href="https://theleanway.net/muda-mura-muri">Muda</a></em><a href="https://theleanway.net/muda-mura-muri"> (desperdicio)</a>. Empoderar a los Equipos para que Piensen y Act&#250;en como Due&#241;os</h3><p>La verdadera magia ocurre cuando logras que tu equipo deje de leer su descripci&#243;n de puesto y empiece a leer el negocio. El <em>Ownership</em> no es un concepto rom&#225;ntico de RR.HH.; es una estrategia de rentabilidad.</p><p>Y en esta parte voy a introducir mi propia metodolog&#237;a de Ownership, la cual he acu&#241;ado durante a&#241;os de experiencia y de mucha lectura.</p><div><hr></div><p>Me gusta pensar que existen <strong>Los 4 Pilares del Ownership Corporativo</strong></p><p>Para que la innovaci&#243;n sea un sistema, el <em>Ownership</em> debe abordarse desde estas cuatro dimensiones:</p><h4>1. Ownership de Liderazgo (El Factor Willink)</h4><p>Es la <strong>responsabilidad radical</strong>. Aqu&#237;, el <em>ownership</em> significa que <strong>no existen las excusas</strong>. Si un proyecto de innovaci&#243;n falla, el l&#237;der no culpa al mercado, al presupuesto o al equipo; asume la responsabilidad total de la ejecuci&#243;n. administrar sus portafolios, o al menos sus proyectos, y &#8220;escuchar al cliente&#8221;, pero, al final, <strong>no saben qu&#233; hacer con lo que descubren</strong> y se encuentran frustrados, considerando los proyectos fallidos como p&#233;rdida, sin poder capitalizar el aprendizaje, tanto el adquirido de <strong>afuera hacia adentro</strong> como el generado en el interior.</p><p>Hoy pasaremos de la mera filosof&#237;a, de la simple disertaci&#243;n, al <strong>motor de ejecuci&#243;n</strong>. Vamos a hablar de rutas, misi&#243;n y responsabilidad.</p><h2>5. Convierte la Innovaci&#243;n en un Sistema con Rutas Claras de Acci&#243;n</h2><p>Dejamos de ver a la innovaci&#243;n como un <strong>milagro</strong>, algo que ocurre espont&#225;neamente y por suerte, cuando empezamos a tratarla como un <strong>proceso</strong>, con una ejecuci&#243;n sistematizada y ordenada, con indicadores especializados en ella y claros, medibles. En las organizaciones de alto rendimiento, ninguna idea se queda flotando en el aire esperando &#8220;su momento&#8221;, el caos creativo es administrado, como una f&#225;brica donde las l&#237;neas de producci&#243;n que generan s&#243;lo aprendizaje est&#225;n presupuestadas y son contabilizadas propiamente. Viabilidad Real.</strong></p><p>Ese enfoque es una evoluci&#243;n pr&#225;ctica de los principios del <strong><a href="https://theleanstartup.com/">Lean Startup,</a></strong> popularizado por <a href="https://leanstartup.co/about/team/eric-ries/">Eric Ries</a>, pero filtrado a trav&#233;s de la lente de la <strong>Consultor&#237;a Estrat&#233;gica</strong>, muy utilizada por firmas como <a href="https://www.ideo.com/">IDEO</a> o, a mi parecer <a href="https://www.economist.com/business/2025/08/03/how-mckinsey-lost-its-edge">muy desvirtuado por McKinsey</a>; para asegurar que la <strong>prototipo</strong> o una mejora de proceso; deja de adivinar, de esperar el &#8220;milagro&#8221;. La experimentaci&#243;n deja de ser un lujo que <em>podr&#237;a</em> tener suerte y se convierte en un <strong>h&#225;bito confiable</strong>, estable y sin sorpresas o costos ocultos. Si no tienes un diagrama de flujo para tu procesos de generaci&#243;n de ideas, y la gente lo entiende y lo ha internalizado, no est&#225;s innovando, s&#243;lo tienes una hermosa lista de deseos.</p>
